A group brought together by a genuine commitment t

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of partners who share a deep passion for experimental education.
We are sincerely grateful that they took the time to visit, engage in meaningful dialogue, and even went on to share words of support and encouragement afterward—it truly moved us.

Below is one of the most heartfelt reflections from our visiting partners, inspired directly by their time on campus:

“Changing the Track, Discovering a Different Light in Children”

Today, I visited a school that feels genuinely different—Tainan Frontier Learning Experimental Education Institution—and I was deeply impacted.

Over the past few years, watching children struggle under the pressure of Taiwan’s 108 Curriculum Guidelines within the traditional system, I’ve often wondered:
Is there really no other path forward?

After this visit, I realized that there truly is another track.

The school primarily serves junior high and senior high students, and its most distinctive feature is its commitment to bringing the world into the classroom.

Several aspects left a strong impression on me, and I genuinely want to recommend this school to parents who feel uncertain about their children’s future:

1. Moving Beyond Rote Learning and Embracing Individual Strengths

Rather than relying on memorization-based teaching, the school is grounded in the principles of the Jena Plan, placing children at the center of learning. Students are encouraged to explore what truly interests them and to develop their own strengths—learning driven by curiosity naturally brings motivation and joy.

2. Strong English Immersion from Junior High to Senior High, Creating a Seamless International Pathway

For families considering overseas education in the future, this offers a clear and practical route. Senior high courses are taught fully in English, aligned with British and American education systems.

During the visit, we also learned that the school has obtained three international accreditations (Oxford AQA, Cambridge, and the British Council), which provided a strong sense of reassurance.

3. Learning How to Live, Not Just How to Study

What stood out most was the learning environment—open, calm, and supportive. The students looked genuinely relaxed. The school emphasizes the idea of “moving fast with direction, moving slow with strength,” and holds firmly to the belief that no child is left behind.

This is a pathway toward international opportunities. While tuition is an investment (with transparent and open explanations provided on site), compared to watching a child struggle in a system that does not fit them, offering a space for growth and transformation feels deeply worthwhile.

If you hope to help your child step beyond traditional frameworks and explore a different life path, I sincerely recommend taking the time to learn more about Tainan Frontier Learning.

We are deeply thankful for every conversation and every voice willing to engage with us.
These dialogues are a powerful force driving experimental education forward.

Once again, thank you to all our visiting partners for your trust, encouragement, and affirmation. ????
