✨ Host Family Experience with Our Japanese Exchange Students
At first, we thought it was just a short exchange program…
but somehow—
we ended up gaining a real friend from Japan.
During the day, we attended classes together—
chatting, discussing, learning .
Sometimes in English,
sometimes just using gestures and laughter.
But somehow, we could talk for hours.
And after school? That’s when it got even better.
Trying Taiwanese street food together.
Exploring night markets, eating, and buying way too many things.
And of course—those awkward but hilarious cultural differences.
Then we realized—
we’re actually not that different at all.
We all get nervous, feel shy, and laugh a lot.
And when it was time to say goodbye…
we thought it would just be a simple “see you.”
But suddenly—
it hit us.
That feeling of…
“Wait… we really became friends.”
(And then you start thinking—
maybe one day I should go visit them in Japan too )
