Tainan Futurelearn Maker Elective | Turning Ideas into Reality

If learning is simply about following instructions and finding the right answer, where is the fun in that?

In our Maker Elective, students become designers, using 3D modeling software to create their own unique vase designs.

Some chose sleek, flowing forms.
Others experimented with geometric structures.
Some even challenged themselves with complex curved surfaces.

Although everyone worked on the same theme—a vase—
each design turned out completely different, reflecting the creativity, personality, and ideas of its creator.

In this course, students do more than learn how to use design software. They also develop:

• Presentation & Persuasion Skills
Learning how to explain and defend their design ideas through logical thinking.

• Engineering & Problem-Solving Skills
Testing, refining, and improving designs to find the best solution.

• Communication & Creative Expression
Sharing ideas through discussion, collaboration, and presentations, allowing creativity to be seen and appreciated.

At Tainan Futurelearn, we believe creativity is not a talent reserved for a few.

It is a skill that can be nurtured, developed, and strengthened through practice.
