【Tainan Futurelearn Students Welcome the Austrian Representative to Taiwan!】

Just last weekend,
our student Aalisha participated in the Kaohsiung Self-Directed Learning Conference,
where she received an award and delivered a presentation entirely in English.

It was a moment that truly showed us what it means to transform learning into a skill that can be recognized by the world.

From welcoming guests and engaging in conversations to interacting confidently throughout the event,
our students demonstrated poise, professionalism, and remarkable confidence.

Even in a fully English-speaking environment,
they communicated naturally and with ease.

Beyond the English presentations,
our students also had the honor of welcoming distinguished international guests, including the Austrian Representative to Taiwan.

What touched us most was that their interactions never felt rehearsed or scripted.

Instead, they demonstrated genuine international-mindedness, confidence, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Because at Tainan Futurelearn,
public speaking, self-directed inquiry, and international engagement
are not occasional experiences—they are part of everyday learning.

Watching Aalisha confidently step onto the stage to receive the Award of Excellence in the English Presentation Category,
our editor was honestly moved to tears.

Moments like these remind us that education is not simply about acquiring knowledge—
it is about empowering students to step onto the world stage with confidence and purpose.
