Spring Electives in Action!

When students take electives they choose themselves,
the level of focus is truly something special —
and we’re not exaggerating.

Here’s a quick look at what students have been exploring in this week’s electives:

☆ Robotics Elective
Students began by learning about the MATRIX controller,
getting familiar with graphical programming and control logic.
Step by step, they brought machines to life while developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

☆ Eastern Traditional Arts | Seal Carving
Starting from the cultural roots of seal carving,
students explored concepts such as yin carving, yang carving, and mirrored characters,
while learning about different materials and carving their own personal seals.

☆ Maker Education | Energy & Power
Through hands-on activities and discussions,
students explored fundamental questions:
What is energy? What is power?

☆ Second Language Electives
Students choose Spanish or Japanese based on their interests,
turning language into a tool for exploring the world.

When children learn something they truly enjoy,
their dedication becomes the best version of learning.
