TFL Four Seasons Program × Autumn Challenge
When you think of pitching a tent,
you probably imagine a quick pop-up one —
open it, pull the rope, and you’re done.
But at The Frontier of Learning (TFL),
our students face a real challenge: the A-frame tent for one to three people.
No shortcuts, no buttons —
just hands, minds, and teamwork.
By the end of the activity, you’ll see smiles they can’t hide —
proud faces glowing with achievement.
They even forgot… they’d be sleeping in their own tents that night!
But this class wasn’t just about tent-building.
You’ll see high schoolers guiding younger students,
teaching knot-tying and setup with patience and care.
That’s the beauty of the Jena spirit — older guiding younger.
And you?
Are your children still learning “camping” from a classroom desk?
A worksheet, a handout, a simulation —
maybe it’s time for something more real.
At TFL, we believe learning should step outside the classroom.
In the wind, in the soil, in shared effort —
children learn resilience, teamwork, and authentic growth.
